95 protege radio turning off and on, engine just did the same Help.
Hello,
Man I love my 'old' Mazda, it has taken me to every state except 5, and just pushed over the 300,000 mark. Going for 400. Anyway, today the radio just cut out, then came back on a couple minutes later. The engine then cut out as well. It started back up, but obviously something is wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

No, and thanks for responding. Thought it might be my alternator, so went and had it checked at Auto Zone. Battery was the problem, it looks like. Thought it was time for a new one, so just made the call. No problems yesterday.
