Default 2003 Mazda Protege - No A/C

Hello,

I have a tricky question, yesterday I had my water pump and Timing Belt replace on my 2003 Mazda Protege 2.0 LX. Now I notice that the air conditioning stop working. It was working up until the repair. Is it possible the the garage broke something or forgot to plug something that would cause the air conditioning to stop working.

Please advise.

Thankls

They could have unplugged the connector to the AC clutch, that would keep it from working, they could have also forgot to install the belt for the AC if it is separate. Check the wiring from the AC compressor up to the wiring harness for any disconnected connections or damaged wires. Best bet though would be to take it back to them and say its not working since they fixed your car, should be a warranty/goodwill issue and you shouldn't have to pay a dime.
