Default 2000 protege 1.6 litre

hey does anybody have any cheap upgrades that might give me a power boost without breaking the bank???? i have a crappy job and make no money but i wantmy car to be a little faster......... all i have done to it is a ractive exhaust...can somebody help me????? and on another post it had seafoam it WHAT IS THAT?????????

CAI ... since all these japanese cars have such a compact engine bay ur engine will profit from breathing in cold air and exhaling but u already have the exaust... probably cost aroud 200$ u probably wont find one for the 1.6 but the 1.8 should fit since its practicly the same.. u could also go SRI just for breathebility with the cone...much cheaper but not sure around what price.... if u dnt want to buy u could always build ur own... ex: in PVC look it up..

the 1.6 intake and 1.8 intake are not the same. the 1.8 and 2.0 are though.

ok ya actually looked into it and and it probably wont fit... but i have good news for u!!! there are some available out there!! heres the link and ull actually find that they're not that expensive... they also cary SRI...
