1991 mazda protege check engine blinks

1991 mazda protege check engine blinks

I did a dignostics test and the check engine light blinked 3 slow blinks followed by 4 slow blinks. Can someonw please help, its not starting.

Code 34 is indicating a fault in the idle speed control valve or circuit. This valve failing might allow engine to stall once started but it should start up and run if you hold your foot on the throttle pedal.
