I have an 03 Protege ES. I am looking to do some minor performance upgrades to it, but don't know where to start looking. Looking for the best bang for the buck things. Like 1 big thing, or several small.

Thought about a simple CAI and high flow catalytic converter/muffler, maybe heads/cam, not sure what all is out there for parts to look at.

If anyone has any suggestions of places to look, or ideas to consider for upgrades I am open. Just in the planning stages now.

Thanks! that's good info. I think I'm going to do Short air intake, Cam upgrade, header, and maybe a high flow muffler, possibly a computer tune if it fits in the budget.
