Will my 93 2600 rear hold up and were can I get gears for my rear and make it a possi. Whats the gear ratio on the stock rear. thanks

I wouldnt mess with the stock get an after market on i have a gm 12 bolt rear end with 2:56 gears. i have a ford 9inch that I am going to have narrowed it has 3:00 gears. Heres some pics of my truck.
