What Is It?
The black box thing that sits on top and at the back of the valve cover? It connects to the air duct and intake? What is it? What does it do? Any information would be cool. I am just wondering what is it? its on 2.6 Liter Engine Fuel Injected..... 1989... B2600i

its called a resonance chamber not fully sure what its purpose is for though
this is what i found it is likley the 2nd meaning
resonator:
[1] A small muffler-like device that is placed into the exhaust system near the end of the tail pipe. It is used to provide additional silencing of the exhaust.
[2] Any device that attenuates pressure spikes.
