Default RE: valve cover question

if you have a haynes or chiltons book it would tell you exactly the value but it is usually about 10 foot pounds or 120 inch pounds depend on your torque wrench

Default RE: valve cover question

I just replaced mine and torqed them to about 5 ft lbs. After 500 miles no leaks. Make sure that the bolt threads and bolt holes are clean and that the bolts thead easily. Also a thin coat of red or blue sealer across the front and rear cam journals helps. Note do not allow the sealer to enter the bolt holes.
