Default Vacuum leak?

I'm wondering if I have a vacuum leak ... I have an 88 mazda b2200 which shakes a bit when idling. Seems to shake a bit more when in gear and idling as opposed to put in neutral (it's an automatic transmission). Does that sound like a vacuum issue - or something else?

I also failed an emissions test recently which apparently could also be vacuum related.

If it does sound like a vacuum leak problem, are there any relatively easy ways to check where the leak is coming from?

Sorry, what would a vacuum leak sound like? also, how would you "feel" it? maybe some air flow around the hoses?

to hear it you would listen for a hissing noise and to feel it you look for open hoses or feel and follow hoses it see if any are disconected the feel of an open hose if it has vacuum on it is it will stick t oyour finger or of course you will feel air if you are close to it

easier way of testing would be an unlit propane torch and run it over all of the vaccuum hoses and fiting adn around the bottom of the carb to see if it idles higher. If it does then theres your leak.
