Turn signal/ dimmer swith Installation
 

My turn signal/dimmer switch and Wiper switch went out. Got new signal unit. Having problems pulling steering wheel. The 21 mm under the middle cap on steering wheel won't loosen?? Have a 3 legged puller, and even tried it without removing the said but?? Can someone please help explain How The Heck do thus???

Turn the steering wheel until it locks. Use a 1/2 drive breaker bar and 21mm socket, or use impact wrench if you have one, normal right-hand threads so counterclockwise to loosen. You could even use your Mazda lug wrench for this. It's tight, but not that tight.

Leave the nut screwed on a few turns to protect yourself. I've pulled these without a tool, just wiggle and pull vigorously towards you (why the nut being on loosely is important, so teeth don't fly. If need be, get a loaner tool steering wheel puller from Autozone or O'Reillly, or just buy one (you may need to buy longer bolts though).

I've done several of these, pulled steering wheels in parts yards too.

The combination switch is held on by a lock bolt (10mm socket), then the plastic release gets pushed in, and the assembly pulls towards you.
