Try to chase down a fuel issue???
Ok I have a 1988 Mazda 2600i, 4x4 with about 163,000 miles on it. Its in really good shape. To be as old as it is. Im trying to get it running, it will only run with carb cleaner. I know Im getting fuel to the fuel filter, but when I disconnected the over flow on the fuel rail there was no fuel coming out of there. And the fuel is only pumping fuel when Im turning the engine over. But I tried checking the fuel relay, with no luck. And when I jumped the yellow wire to prime the fuel line again the fuel pump never came on. Does that mean the fuel pump relay is faulty or the pump all together. Im checking the fuel pressure tomorrow to see what its getting. I have a Hanyes Book with all the specs just cant seem to get the truck to run without running on just carb cleaner. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Im lost on these Mazda Pickup lol
