Default truck won't idle

I just bought an 88 b2200 ext. cab and it was running fine but after getting home the truck won't idle. It run fine as long as I give it gas, even just lightly pressing the pedal will keep it going.
I tried adjusting the idle but it made no difference.
Anyone got any ideas?!?

Default RE: truck won't idle

Same truck, same problem. I just fixed this problem a month ago. My problem was an old dry-rotted vacuum hose to the brake master cylinder. This was a very specific case, though. I would look through all of your vacuum hoses with the Chilton's vacuum diagramin hand. I had porobably 5 unatatched hoses under the hood.

Is the check engine light on? If so, get it checked.

Good Luck,
Shane
