s-10 4.3?
has anyone dropped a 4.3 into there b- series and had any problem. I'm buying the ultimatecustoms.ca motor mount kit with tranny and suspention cross members. and have a cherry donar with all parts nessesary. any help with brakes, power steering/streering column, dirveshaft measurements (keeping mazda rearend), radiator swaps would be greatly appreciated!

haven't heard of that swap yet, but just my input, i would change out the complete drivetrain including the rearend. only because the stock rearend in our trucks is geared rather low. and with that added power i am sure that you want more of the top end. i know this will be a costly venture, especially to get the driveshaft custom made to keep all the geometry correct and keep the axle positioned in the same location it is currently (this is a important factor having the truck dropped, bagged or the like)

HEY, JUST A NEWBIE HERE, BUT FROM WHAT I CAN UNDERSTAND, MAKESURE YOU DO A LOT OF HOMEWORK BEFORE STARTING A PROJECT LIKE THAT. MY 2.2 IS ON THE WAY OUT (BURNING OIL) AND I HAD ACTUALLY CONSIDERD DOING THE SAME THING. THE ONLY THING STOPPING ME FROM DOING IT IS THE FACT THAT I DON'T THINK I'LL HAVE THE TRUCK LONG ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY WARRANT A PROJECT LIKE THAT. ALL THE POWER TO YOU IF YOU DO IT THOUGH. SORRY I'M NOT MUCH HELP.

RE: s-10 4.3?
if you need a radiator you can use a 1974 chevy nova radiator you can get 2 or 3 core. it has the same deminsions but you will have to build mounts to hold it in place. what are the hose locations on the radiator in the s 10. the nova has drivers top passenger bottom.

An MSD igntion box would be your savior as far as the distributor goes. I would manually wire up the fuel pump with a relay to reduce the chances of frying an alternator and/or battery and put it on a switch! I don't know how you would get the injectors to go without purchasing some sort of expensive aftermarket computer though...Consider carburetor. Just my 2 cents!!!
