Ok I have a fuel injected 1992 b2200. I am having trouble with it stalling. Firstly it will not start at all then after a good 10 minutes of trying it will start but as soon a you give any throttle it will stall. After another few minutes you can hold your foot right to floor and it will run very rough but will not gain any RPM. I have checked fuel pressure and it has 40 pounds at start up and about 25 pounds running. also if I hold my hand over the air intake it will run fine at an idle and if you hold your foot to the floor it will stay running at an idle speed. I can not figure this thing out any help would be great. i really need my truck back. Thanks for all the help.

 

check you distributor....same thing happened to me recently and it was the cam angle sensor in the distributor

 

Ok I checked the distributor and the cam sensor reading 5 ohms. basically it will start and idle fine as soon as I give it any throttle is just coughs and back fires it won't stall but it won't run either!

 

check your spark plugs

 

check your fuel pressure regulator....
