Default Mazda B2200 - excess oil blowing into airfilter

My 1990 Mazda B2200 is losing a lot of oil through the crankcase filter into the air filter. The filter between the crankcase ventilator hose and the interior of the air filter is soaked with oil. Oil seems to be shooting up the ventilator hose. Has anyone have experience with this and have and explanation as to why this is happening. It is affecting the performance of the motor, hard to get above 3000 rpm in 2nd gear. No power or acceleration.

Have you changed your PCV lately (pressure crackcase valve) It's a cheap part...Located on top your valve cover.
