Im new to this forum so I'll introduce myself at the same time I submit my question.

Im South African, living in Sweden, Europe. I work in the Telco industry, I love the outdoors, and refer to pickups, as you yanks do, as "Bakkies" ( A very S.African thing)


After finally almost getting my Swedish drivers license, I have found what I think is a semi-decent pickup, a B2600 , 2000 model.
I honestly know extremely little about these pickups ( Im a Opel guy, or was... ) for example, miles to the liter, reliability, maintenance costs, insurance compared to a sedan or whatever, comfort, long distance, rust issues, anything that anyone can tell me about the Year 2000 model or around that yr model!
