Default B2600 New Motor now a Bad Cpu/cpm Computer

I have a 1991 b2600i. I put a new motor in it a few months back and within 10 minute of starting the new motor the check engine light came on. The motor still ran good and the check engine light would not stay on all the time so i just ignored it. A few days ago the truck died but started back up a few minutes later. I checked the check engine code and it showed that throttle position sensor was bad. I reset the codes and tested the tps and it seemed good. I drove it around the block and the check engine light came back on. I checked the code and it read a 17. bad computer. I found a site online that shows a capacitor that goes bad on the circuit board. I looked at mine and the same capacitor was leaking **** all over the board. I replaced the cpu and drove it for a day and the check engine light came back on. It gave me a code 17 again.

So now I am wodering if I have another bad computer or maybe neither one was bad and its something else. Does anyone know if I need to program the computer since I put a new motor in it?

The injector harness is usually what fries the computers.
