I just changed the fuel pump on our truck, and when I turn the key on, I don't here the pump run. I jumped across two wires on the fuel pump control unit, under the dash, and turned the key on and it runs. I am guessing that this control unit is bad, I used to here the pump when I turned the key on. I checked all the local parts stores, and non of them list this part. Does anybody know the name of this part, and where I might find one? Or is there something else that might cause this?

oh yeah, it is a b2600 4x4, 2.6l carb engine not fuel inj.
