Default B2500 Wont start when hot.

Hi.

Ive just bought a 2002 Mazda B2500 pick-up.

What the previous owner failed to mention is that it wont start when hot!!! Thanks!

It takes between 5-10 seconds to start when cold but refuses to fire at all when hot.

I have changed glow plugs but no change.

Ive discovered today that the fuel filter does not have a sensor on the bottom! The other end of the cable is hanging loosely in the area from the loom but the other end is not attached to the bottom of the filter!

I have ordered another unit from ebay today that will give me the sensor to connect.

What does this sensor do and do you think this will help?

I also heard it could be a piston in the fuel pump that siezes/

Or even the head gasket gone but it does not run hot, no signs of water in the oil etc.

Any info to help with this problem will be greatly received!

Thanks

Simon
