Default B2200 EFI to carburetor conversion

Happy New Year to all. I am new to forums/blogs so please excuse any rookie mistakes.
I have a 1991 B2200 EFI and have been having problems with my ECU. I am on my second ECU and am pretty sure that it is now defective again.
My truck will not start. I have changed the following items: distributor, ignition coil, igniter, and have sent my ECU through eBay Motors for a repair. Also I had to buy a new battery as it has ran down through troubleshooting the problem.I am not confident as far as the ECU being good as it is a complex electrical part. The timing belt is not broken and the fuel system is pumping.
I have heard the ECUs are a problem with this model and am wondering what I need to do to convert this into a carburetor model. What components need to be changed, what wiring modifications, and any other things to know.
Also does anyone know where I can purchase one for cheap? If I can get one cheap I may just try another ECU. Thanks for any help.

The injector harness on those had a problem. Anytime i had a fried ECU i replaced the injector harness with a new one and never had one repeat the problem.
