air bag problem

hi all, i have a airbag light problem on my uk mazda b2500. the light goes off after the first check, then it comes back on and into a set pattern of flashes. 2 flashes then off for 4 seconds then 2 flashes off for for seconds. this continues until the truck is turned off.
any help would be greatly recieved.

Means you have error code 42
