Default Aftermarket camshaft

I see on ebay a company selling performance cams for B2200 engines for $160. They claim a 10% power increase. I wonder if going from 85 to 93hp will be noticeable. Also they state that no other parts are needed. I question the use of old rockers with a new cam. I always thought it was a bad idea to do that. I dont think I need a new camshaft but seeing as I am going to be removing my rockers to install new seals I could easily drop one in. Lastly how would an increase in lift and duration effect emissions and gas mileage?

You probably wouldn't actually notice it, but you'd THINK you noticed it because it's supposed to be there. That 9hp could only be for 100rpms at like 6k rpms. Without knowing the lift and duration, I'd think it'd be alright running the stock rockers. Again, not knowing lift or duration, I'm going to say you'll get a reduction in mileage and increased emissions.

The emissions shouldn't be affected that much until you get past 220 duration at .050", that would be considered an extreme street cam, any bigger is typically considered "not streetable". I think min is like 212/218 duration at .050" and at one time was getting 28 mpg on an out of tune engine. The intake and exhaust on the F2 engine are very restrictive and until you open them up anything else you do will have minimal gains. If you have a stock engine I would spend the money on a header or have an exhaust shop make a new exhaust for you with free flow cats and 2" tubing.
