Exclamation 94 mazda b3000 SE electrical dash issue

Hi I have a 94 b3000 and the oil pump gauge and the fuel pump gauge are acting funny. My fuel gauge when the truck is off shows me what the fuel level is in the truck. When I start the truck it drops to empty and stays there. My oil pump gauge will flutter from low to normal level depending on if I'm acelerating or not accelerating. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do to fix it. I just got this truck about a month ago and the *** Mechanic did nothing that he said he did to this truck for maintenance. I already replaced the battery, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, fuel injectors and flushed the engine and put in new oil. The truck runs pretty good for 170,000 miles I just want my gauges to read correct so I don't run out of gas. Atlanta, GA is not a place where you want to run out of gas. Thanks
