Mazda BT 50 & Pickup Trucks While Mazda may not be known for their trucks, they have always produced quality reliable trucks for both hauling cargo, or simply crusing. BT 50

Default 91 b2600i

I have a 91 b2600i 4x4 manual trans. This truck runs fine and then it will lug down. If I give it gas it will stall, but if I pump the gas for a while it will start going again. This will happen sometimes but not always. I have new fuel filter, plugs distributer cap, rotor, coil, water pump,Radiator, and cap. Can anyone help ?

hey Slimfin,
I have a 92' b2600i 4x4 mith a stick also. A few weeks ago my truck was doing the exact same thing that you described. I thought it was electrical so I took it to a Mazda dearlership to have them check it. They ofcourse said to change the cap, rotor, and wires and even the Mass Airflow Sensor. I did all those and it didnt change anything!!! So instead I checked my ECU which is behind the passenger side kick panel under the side mirror. It took me 5 minutes to check and see that there was corrosion on the circuit board. I replaced the ECU with a remanufactured ECU from a company done in Texas (I could get the name of the place later for you if you want) and that fixed all the problems with the truck.

Hope this helps you out.
