88 b2200 torsion bars, sway bars
I have a 88 b2200 that has a lower than stock ride hight (about 2 inches front and back). I lowered the torsion bars a little andinstalled lowering blocks in back for a little lower look, but sometimes use the truck for hauling a few hundred pounds, so I also bolted on a set of air lift air bags. So,basically my setup has a lower look, but with 50-100 psi in therear bags, can hold some cargo without affecting the truck's ride. This also gives me a certain amount of corneringhelp with the rear suspension being stiffer. My question is- can heavier duty torsion bars and/or sway bar be installed in the front. How about 4 wheeler models, where their bars heavier, or the same. I have also installed polyurethane sway bar bushings and end links, this helped some, but im looking for more in the front. I know its not a corvette, but it would be nice to dart around a little better! Thanks for the responses -Brandon
