Default 1999 B2500 Wiring Help

I have a 1999 B2500 pickup that I purchased an aftermarket cruise control for. The cruise control directions state to connect a wire to the vehicle "speed sensor wire". I would like to find a diagram for this truck so I may complete the cruise installation. If a diagram is not available can someone advise me of where I may tap into this "speed sensor wire" so I may put the cruise to use. Thanks for any help. Tony

Default RE: 1999 B2500 Wiring Help

I installed Audiovox CCS100 cruise control into my 1988 Mazda truck. Note that your 1999 is really a US-made Ford Ranger (1994 on). Mine is carbureted with manual transmission. That kit apparently can plug directly into the harness, call manufacturer for tech help. Mine pulls the signal directly from the coil, no magnets on drive shaft.
