1999 b2500 stalling

Hello I am at wits end on this truck hopefully someone could help. I have replaced every sensor on the truck BUT the camshaft sensor. This is my sons truck and it keeps stalling. If you give it gas revving the engine slowly up to 4000 rpms it runs smooth and start to let off slowly is start's to stumble and shake like crazy when it 's around 2000 rpms and if you let off the pedal it stalls. But if you keep your foot on the pedal feathing it it won't stall and it plans out and idles smooth. If the cam sensor is bad would this make it stumble and shake and stall like I have described. I have replaced spark plugs, wires, coils, timing belt, crank sensor, egr valve, tps sensor, idle air sensor, map sensor, and that other senor that goes in the air filter hose, also the sensor that connects to the exhaust manifold by the o2 sensor.also replaced vacume line's fuel filter I have spent a lot of money on all these sensor's i'm ready the make a bonfire out of it. I have sprayed ether all around and it doesn't seem to have any vacume leak's also did a compression test and all is good 150 on all cylinders
. STUMPED

Well seeing how nobody replied to my question I have ordered the cam sensor and should be in a couple of day's . I am hoping this solves my problem if not maybe time to let it go.
