Default 1992 b2600 4x4

About to go and pick up a 1992 b2600 4x4 that has been sitting for 5 years, I know it will need a new battery, oil change and tune up any other things I should check out before I make a journey back home with it? Also are all 92 b2600 fuel injected or did they come carb'd also

I would be worried about sediment in the tank. If there is sediment it will get into the fuel lines and clog the filter or worse. Consider dropping the tank and cleaning it out.
If it has a carb I would expect crud in the float bowl and in some passages. The needle valve in the float bowl might stick and cause flooding.
Replace the brake fluid.
Replace the coolant.
Expect the tires to be out of round.

The only carb'd B2600's were 87 to 89, they ran the Mitsubishi Engine (and were prone to a lot of issues) 90 to 94 were all injected.

Timing Chain is something I would be more concerned about then sediment in the tank (fuel filter & screen will catch it first). These are INTERFERENCE motors, WHEN the timing chain goes, then you rebuild the entire engine..
