Just got my first Mazda this Christmas!! Its a 1.6 1998 MX-3 and i think its great! I would however like to replace the steering wheel with something a little more sporty (kinda like this Sports Steering Wheel 300mm - Black 3 Spoke PU Leather Imitation 30cm | eBay). Although i am finding that most repalcement steering wheels are not compatible with the 1998 model.

Has anyone replaced the steering wheel on a '98 MX-3? I know that i need to buy a Boss or Hub kit as well, and most of these seem compatible with the 98 model but the actual steering wheels don't appear to be.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

 

I have a 95 and it the same as a 98 tell u the truthI love my mx3 but anyways it is easy to put a wheel in but the hard part was running the horn u can go on youtube and they will show u how to hooknit up with a paperclip but yea I put one in mine about a month ago and I love it if u have a email I can send u pics

 

What country do you live in? They stopped making the MX-3 in North America in 1996. Only in europe were they made until 98.
