My MX3 Progress Thread- 1.8L-4 - 2.5L-6
 
I have a motor and trans out of a 93 Probe GT and a 93 MX3 and I am capable of doing anything just want to know if anyone has done this??

You will most likely need the wire harness and ECU from the donor car.

i have all parts from my probe the harness and engine/trans suspension too evryone says it is not worth it but i have all the stuff and my probe is totaled

totally worth it if the egine and tranny are still unharmed im getting it done this summer im in the final stages of prepping and asking a few final questions and it seems totally worth the money keep in mind i dont even have a probe i gotta buy a whole new engine

does anyone know where i can get a wiering harness from a v6 mx6 i need the one that hooks up to the motor and ecu and fuse panel under the hood

just installed 2.5 in 1.6 mx3
 
hey everybody just updating my earlier thread on mx3, just finished the 2.5 v6 conversion on my mx3 and i am going to put pix on here soon of the car and engine and just to tell all it is easier than all think and it only cost a couple hundread dollars if u have a motor, and a motor si only a couple hundread more but i can help any that want help.

Hey, so what have you done about the exhaust?
Is it standard shift, and did you have any trouble with pedals/clutch actuation hydraulics, etc?

the exaust hasnt been done yet but it wil be today and the rest just imports from the v6 mx3 except for the crosmember under the trany because the 4 cylinder dosnt have the bolt holes well here are the pix
