Mx6 throttle body issue

hi everyone, i have a 1993 mx6 4cyl 2.0l standard transmission. The car has 200000km and was only winter driven 4 years. Engine is still solid and does not burn oil.

My throttle body is finished. Stnadard giveaway is that idling is all over the place. My main question is that will a defective throttle body also affect engine temperature and cabin heating? Does the unit regulate those things too? any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

The throttlebody has coolant running through it. It is not uncommon for them to clog up and restrict flow. As far as the system hydrolocking if it is plugged, hmm, It is possible but unlikely. It would be worth checking it though. More likely the symptom would be a high/eratic idle.
