mx3 ticking when I turn right
 
Hi I just wondered if anyone had any idea why my mx3 is ticking when I turn right

99%. I had this question answered before I even opened the thread.

Ticking noises on turning (in a FWD car) almost always have to do with a bad CV joint in the drive axle... and almost always the outer joint. A bad inner joint is usually more stealthy than that.

Right thanks I'll take a look but it doesn't always make the noise I thought it would do if it was the cv boot

If the boot is compromised, then so is the CV. CV's are a highly machined part with close tolorances and they don't like running w/o grease and in a dirty, and/or wet enviroment. Those things will destroy one very quickly and if its ticking, its destroyed.
