Mazda mx6 missing and power loss

Hey guys I have a 1993 mazda mx6ls with the klze 2.5l v6. After about 20 minutes of running you can hear it start missing in the exhaust and it has a pretty good power loss. I'm thinking maybe plug wires? Any ideas?

Check your plugs first. See if they're blackened and smell like gas. If so, I may be able to point you in the right direction. Were the plug wires causing this, I'd imagine the problem would be more consistent.
