fixing up my mx6

my 93 mx-6 is in perfect running condition and minor appearance problems but it is completely stock. I'm looking to beef it up a little any suggestions on what I should do first?

is it 4 or 6 cylinder?? if it is a 4, this post applies to your motor also. i still have some things to add, but there is a lot of modification here. https://www.mazdaforum.com/m_84775/tm.htm

First question - do you have the V6 or the 4 and do you have an automatic or a manual trans?
