I tried to lower the spare tire (for the first time). The cable came down, but not the spare tire. I can spin the spare tire, but it just does come down, The spare tire lever is not locked to the socket. Is there a mechanism that should come out to lock it and allow the tire to come down at the same time? How do I get the tire down now?
