Sliding Door Lock/Unlock

Hi,

I've got a 2000 MPV DX van.

Before I was able to lock and unlock the sliding doors from the master switch. But now whenever I press to unlock the doors everything works except the 2 sliding doors. This van has to sliding doors by the way. I've checked the fuses and it's good. What's the next thing I should do? I'm not sure which wire to test if the master switch is giving power to the door actuators.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Is there a panel of copper/brass terminals that make contact between each door and the pillar when closed? If so, clean both sides and recheck the locking.

Diagram may be of a later model, but similar principle.

Hi,

I've tried cleaning the contacts and they're clean as a whistle both on the door and the frame of the door where it latches in.

Any other ideas?

Is there a way for me to check if there's power going to the actuators? Where would I be looking at the master switch?

Thanks.

When you press the lock & unlock button there will be a power signal at 1 or more of the terminals on the door pillar. Use a multimeter or LED testlight to check.
