Mazda Efini MPV 1995 Fuses in Japanese
 

Hi Guys,

We've got a Japanese import Mazda MPV Efini 2.5 Diesel Automatic rigth hand drive 8 seater and this model has powerfold mirrors of which one had failed (the left, passenger side). The one that was working appeared fine (i.e Folded and moved with the controls) but then the other one stopped and so i took it off and found that the gears and motor had sheared off and have now got the mirror replace however neither mirror now works, there appears no power to either for folding or moving/ tilting. The problem i have is that the fuse box (which i assumes was the problem) is Japanese and so bought a Haynes manual but these appear to be different to my model (panels and body/ main parts seem to be the same but added extra's aren't in there). I have found a fuse box under the instrument panel above the accelerator but the flap shows all fuses in Jap and so can't see which could be the fuse. In a vain attempt i have replaced the fuses one by one (as a process of elimination) but still no life.
If someone could point me in any kind of direction then that'd save my mind !!
