MAP Sensor Location

Searched high and low for hours, but I cannot seem to find a definitive description or photo of where the MAP is on a 2001 MPV.

Engine will idle fine, but there is no power and pedal to the floor takes about three seconds to reach 5000 RPM in neutral.
Replaced fuel pump, MAF, IAC, and all six spark plugs, but no change.

CEL is setting a code for the MAP, but I can't find the thing.

Anyone got any hints?

MAP stands for Manifold Absolute Pressure. Mazda has used another nickname for the same thing: EGR Boost Sensor. Nothing gets boosted here. In my Mazda protege that EGR boost sensor sits at the fire wall, passenger side and there is a vacuum line going down to the rear of the manifold. When I pulled it off and stuck a wire in there I felt resistance. The nipple was blocked with deposits! I scraped it open and put a new vacuum line on. After that the EGR boost sensor was measuring again what it supposed to measure: the manifold absolute pressure.

It is not a good approach to throw parts at a CEL.

Boost sensors were a common fault in tributes,

Friend's car: Parts got thrown by a repair shop in response to other codes.
So: MAP is mounted on the airbox, with the vacuum line fed from the EGR Solenoid....
Shop put in wrong plugs and no wire set, didn't check coil output, etc.
I doubt they did an exhaust back pressure test either.
