HELP!!! MPV '04 stuttering and ready to stall
 

Hi all,

Newbie here.

My Mazda MPV '04 is stuttering and seems like it's going to stall. I figure the spark plugs need changing so I went ahead and was able to change three of the four. The ones on top I was able to get to, but the fourth one is deeply embedded under the hood and hard to get to. Can someone advise me on what steps to take to replace this fourth spark plug? Even with the three changes the vehicle still stutters.

Also, what else may be causing this stuttering? Do I need to replace other parts as well?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might have a bad ignition coil...

I was able to change three ignition coils and spark plugs, but I can't seem to locate the fourth one. Can someone assist me in finding it?

Remove the intake manifold to gain acess to the remaining plugs. replace the coils and plugs. I hope this helps kevin

Bad plug wire(s) could also be the culprit.
