heater/blower motor
 

I just turned on my air conditioning and heard this loud noise coming from the blower.

I took out the glove box and took out the filters for the blower. AsI did this, I also got a large amount of grass clippings in there, the kind that would be similar to a small nest.

I am thinking a mouse or similar small creature got in there somehow and is hitting the "impellers" or the "blades" as the fan turns around when switched on. YES I am assuming this critter is dead ;)

Has anyone encountered this before? How easy is it to remove the motor housing to see what the origin of the noise is, or to replace the motor all together?
