Tilt open the front console, and at the very top is a small pocket that is DIN sized. I have a Blaupunkt flip down screen
I'm mounting to the ceiling, but the separate DVD player is just a little too big to really fit any where - like under the passenger seat where I had planned. But, a standard DIN sized DVD player would be perfect in this spot in the console. It would be protected from kids, only accessible to us up front, out of the way, and not in a place it could get spilled on. I'm think I'm going to give it a try but has anyone else installed something in this spot? It certainly appears like Mazda made this DIN sized on purpose, and perhaps their stock DVD system is even installed here.
