95 mpv loss of radiator fluid, help!

My 95 mpv minivan is slowly losing radiator fluid (about 4-5 months it will lose 2 liters). it didnt overheat until the fluid got really low, had to top it off, and it will not overheat until there's low fluid again. Installed a new thermostat. no leaks anywhere, but in the mornings white smoke comes out of the tailpipe for the first few minutes. (Not a blue tinge but it doesn't seem like your usual morning cold engine smoke/steam) Otherwise the can drives fine.

I'm assuming radiator fluid is going into engine? What do I need to do, I don't want my engine to be ruined. Thanks

more than likiely a head gasket.
Check your engine oil, it may have some coolant mixed in with it as well.

Also, you could pull the spark plugs and look for any that are particularly clean. Antifreeze cleans spark plugs like you wouldn't believe. If you find one or two that are, you know which side, which cylinders the problem is on. But I agree with Noggin... it sounds like a head gasket from your description. It is a '95 after all and has seen a lot of years and use, I'm sure.
