2004 Mazda MPV cuts off while driving no engine light

I have a 2004 mazda mpv van that I have been having trouble with. When I am driving down the road the van just cuts off and sterring wheel locks upand I have to restart it. No engine light on either. I noticed that whenI am on the highwayI don't have this problem. Only in the city and I noticed when it's warm. I have not had much problems early in the morning when it's cold. I think it is electrical or a fuse or something b/c sometime I can see the lights come on then they flicker off and it does not cut off. I mean the dash board ligths for the engine etc that come on when you put your key in to cranck the car. Do you know of any other mazda issues like this. I have put in a new battery, took it to the dealer and they said they fixed it, it was a wire lose(imcc wire) not sure. Had pvc hose put on and fuel injection cleaned and still cuts off.

Please help if someone has had this and fixed the problem

RE: 2004 Mazda MPV cuts off while driving no engine light

Could be alot of things but if the idle got low enough the lights on the dash could come on even when it did not die. Since you paid to have it fixed i would take it back and tell them it is still not fixed.
