Default 2001 MPV Transmission Dipstick

Hi:
I have recently learned that while my MPV was being serviced at a dealer, they lost the transmission dipstick. I cannot find one. If anyone can
point me in a direction I would be very happy. Thanks.

If the Mazda dealer did in fact "loose" your transmission dip stick then they are responsible to get a new one for you.

The Mazda part number must be verified by way of the VIN on the Mazda it will be ordered for.
if ordered from any Mazda dealership and it shows NLA then have that dealer run a nationwide dealer parts search for NOS
You can also use Nation Wide Auto dismantlers to locate a used one.

You just may need to do a little internet searching and a few calls yourself. But I would start with Mazda dealership that you claimed lost the part first.

Suffice it to say I am no longer on speaking terms with the dealership. I have searched for a replacement part and it is no longer available. I have done the ebay thing and was
ripped off when they sent me the wrong item and refused to respond and ebay just gives me a shrug. I have tried salvage yards here in my area to no avail. So, ... I give a call
out into the wilderness. Thanks for your reply.

Try a place that does transmission rebuilds. Sometimes they buy second hand ones for rebuild parts.
