2000 Mazda mpv wont start

I have a 2000 mpv that will not start. A few months ago I put in a new radiator. a few weeks ago I noticed the blinkers would not work with the head lights on. The check engine light came on for about a day then went off. Blinkers still do not work with lights on. I changed the bulbs still nothing. My wife drove the car yesterday ran fine dispite the lights then parked the car for about two hours and went to leave and the heater blower would not work she turned the car off. I went to start it and it will not start. It makes no noise when turning the key. Lights work wipers work but car will not start

I feel for you, it sounds like a computer issue. Have you checked the codes? I am just trying to find out where the oil pressure switch is located. Dealer parts dept. showed me a picture of the location but I can find it.[X(]

re: 2000 Mazda MPV won't start

I have a 2001 MPV that's experienced a couple of similar (but not exact) issues as yours.
The first was a cellanoid (sp?) issue - MPV had start-up problems off & on, would have to try turn it over, wait, then try again. It would even do this after being parked for only a few minutes. Almost everything else electrical would work, but it just wouldn't turn over (some noise, but not alot). I don't recall if the check engine light came on during the problem phase, but the turn-over situation sounds similar to yours.
The second time was the starter. Again, no check engine light "warning", but it just wouldn't turn over even though it had run just fine the previous day.
Sorry I can't be of more help, but hopefully this will point you in the right direction.
