1998 MPV - dead interior dash lightbulb
 

Slider lever for interior car temperature was sticking so I sprayed some WD40 on the lever. Worked pretty good from there except I think that the light bulb got zapped from the spray. Don't remember if this was always illuminated or the spray killed it. The Zone area, lever below the temp/fan speed is illuminated so I suspect that I killed the bulb. How do I get at the bulbs to replace ? There really aren't any exposed screws. Thanks.

The heater control head is fairly buried in the dash trims. There are four screws holding the control head in place but in order to get to them you will need to remove the upper center trim panel around the control head. Only two screws at very lower edge of upper panel but lower center panel needs to be removed along with the Lower panel in front of drivers knees, glove box, and glove compartment cover. Basically the entire lower part of dash and center part needs to be taken off and heater control cables removed to get the control head out far enough to get to the bulb.
