RE: 1989 mpv keeps cutting off
I had the same problem in my 2000 MPV a couple years ago. As long as I kept my foot on the gas pedal, it stayed running, which made stopping at a red light really fun (one foot on brake, other foot slightly on gas pedal). I can't find the exact part number that they replaced, but they called in "IAC valve" on my receipt. I think he also called it "air idle intake sensor" or something like that. I did a search on www.onlinemazdaparts.com and couldn't find it, but maybe someone else will have some more info. I'm not sure that your '89 has the same part though. |
