Thanks for the memories and help...
Hi All,
We traded in our Milly on the 31st. We were just having little issue after another. We owned her for 3 years at 55K miles, put just over 30K on her for a total of 87K.
We had put in just over $3K (timing belt, tensioner, vacuum leak, new tires, etc...) you get the idea. I wish I had the skills Keninn has or many others here but what really got me moving on switching her out was that I was starting to hear a pitch sound coming from the SC I believe and after reading the costs associated with that, I said adios.
I wasn't crazy about the trade in price ($4011) but based on what I could see in regional guides and such, we were not going to get a whole lot more selling privately...maybe another grand? There was a slight tear forming on the drivers seat too (I used to sell cars so the trade in price was legit...didn't pay an elevated retail price to make up for it so Precision Toyota was very fair).
We bought a 2010 Toyota Rav4. Same color as our Milly (Pearl White) in her honor.
So, thank you to those that helped out over the years...Keninn, BabyHuey etc...you guys have been great and I probably saved an extra $1K with your assistance. This is a great forum and a great example of how the internet has changed our lives for the better.
Best of luck to you all and your Millenias. They are great cars. I wish we could have owned ours from the start.
Cheers.

I'm sorry I didn't pick up on this post sooner, JJ.
That's sad. It sounds like you really loved the car, but like all things simply had to move on. I feel bad for you.
The Civic I drove to death for years was extremely hard to see go, so I know what you mean. W/nearly 200k and a floor board that I could see the road through, a chassis that could no longer safely carry the suspension(s), etc, I had to let her go too. But I still think (and talk) about my Inga often.
Sorry, but Best of Luck w/the RAV!! I think you'll like it too after a time.
