Default OIL IN THE WELLS

ANYBODY KNOW WHY/HOW OIL GETS IN THE SPARK PLUG WELLS. MY ENGINE IS THE 2.3 MILLY S. COULD THIS CAUSE A MISS-FIRE IN A CYLINDER?

oil gets in the wells because the valve cover gasket dont seal. over time, and many heat cycles, the gasket will shrink, and harden. and yes, oil in the wells can cause misfire. too many misfires, and the coil will die.
