Millenia camshaft timing - Argggh!

Hi all!,
This is my first post, and the first time I have touched a Mazda, altho I have been working on cars for 30 years. I am stumped by thistho:

I bought this '96 Millenia with a normally aspirated 2.5 litre dohc V6. It needed a timing belt, the one on it had slipped, (not broken). I have the engine torn down to the timing belt, and have installed new tensioners and idler pulleys. I am now lining up the crankshaft and the 2 camshafts in preparation to install my new timing belt. I set the crank on TDC, easy enuf, then set the left (rear) cam using the 2 little marks on the valve cover and the 2 little marks on the camshaft gear, easy enuf, but I cannot time the right (front)camshaft.

I can see the mark on the cam gearfor TDC, but to what do I line this mark up with? There is no timing mark on the valve cover, and none embossed on the cylinder head, as far as I can see. Help! Does anyone know how to time this cam?

Thanks in advance!

looking straight on to the timing belt. The upper gear to the left should have to imbedded dots on it that line up with the two teeth sticking down from the valve cover. on the right gear, there is one dot that lines up with one tooth sticking down from the valve cover (left of the center of gear) hope this helps.

I do not have any teeth sticking down from my right (front) valve cover..............

yeah, i don't recall it looking like the teeth on the left (back) gear. There is something sticking down left of center on the top side of the gear. I believe it's the only thing sticking down, perhaps a yellow mark may be on it. Thant's all I got.

Hmmm. Is it at the 10 o clock? 9 o clock? Is it embossed on the head? Unfortunatley, the manual is clueless on this.........
